Pocket bikes, sometimes called mini motos, are tiny sized bikes averaging around 47 inches long and eighteen inches tall.
The smaller industrial-motored models utilised by Junior class racers are capable of speeds of over 35 miles per hour, the average 4.2 hp and 6.2 hp racing models achieve about 40-45 miles per hour, and open class machines reach speeds over fifty miles per hour. Pocket bikes can be built with plenty of the features common to regular bikes ,eg disc brakes in the front and back, racing tires, fairings, light aluminium amalgamate cast fringe frames and swing arms. As their appeal has grown reasonable pocket bike imports became available to a much bigger group of motor sport fans.
Lubrication isn’t as efficient as in a 4 stroke engine with heavy oil. Half as strong as 2 stroke engines ( for equivalent engines ) Fires once each 2 revolutions.
