The start of the first ever Moto GP in indianapolis speedway. This is from the south vista turn section that allows you to see T1 to T5 with a nearby video screen. Stoner 1st, Hayden 2nd, and Dovizioso 3rd. Rossi was 4th at this stage. By the 2nd lap, Hayden took first place with Dovizioso behind and stoner 3rd. Hayden had the lead for most of the shortened race, before Rossi took over in the 14th Lap to win it when the red flag came out at lap 20 for extreme high winds and rain. Wish i took the shot of them going thru the T1 to T4 when there were a lot of debris going right across the racing line.

Just looked at a video of Daijiro Kato ‘s death. There where some people who liked indy motogp better and they said ‘street’racing is very danngerous. But i think the indy motogp is a lot more dangerous because of the high speeds reached. But i agree, it must be a very cool sound of all that bikes in a stadium!!!
Greetings from the netherlands!
By the way kanin75, this is an awesome clip.
I was on the front straight. Loved it. Nicky took the lead right in front of me. Rossi was awesome as were all the riders. Hope to return next year. I finally got to see a recording of the race. Man, we could not really feel the wind in the paddock penthouse. The stands were blocking it.
