Your best bet is to hire a car.
- Basically the Coastal Train from Alicante ( Via Benidorm ) to Valencia has a " Break in it " Just North of Denia , which means that passengers need to take a coach between the 2 stations , which is a real pain.
- If you CAN hire a car, but are worried about driving into the city, then take the AP7 or N332 North from Benidorm to Cullera ( Approx 1 hr / 60 km ) where you can park your car at the Train Station for Free and catch a cheap and regular Train into the Centre of Valencia.
Otherwise your'e buggered.
