Motorcycle helmet shields come in several different variaties, depending on what style helmet you have. Most helmets that have 3 snaps on the front, take universal shields that manufacturers deliberatly make to fit on any helmet with 3 snaps.

Shorty shields you have to be careful with. Some shorty helmets out there are made with 3 snaps on the front, 3 screws on the front, or none at all.
