Quick release buckles are the alternative to d-rings, which is the standard on most helmets manufactured. Almost every new helmet comes fitted with d-rings used to strap the helmet to your noggin', but almost every helmet has the capability of having a quick release buckle attached as well. Quick release buckles are made by different manufacturers and from different materials.
