This RPHA replaced an older HJC CL-16 and is a quantum leap ahead.

Affordable and Sweeeeeet

This helmet is insanely comfortable. It’s sturdy and easy to use. I’ve got a few compliments on it as well, which is always nice. The one thing I wish is that there were a little bit more venting options, but I have never had an issue yet with my head getting sweaty. If the price is right, get the RPHA-10, it’s affordable, yet I’ve been told by a pro that they do just about the same as Arai helmets for fraction of the cost.

A racing level helmet for pocket change.

This helmet is amazing. Vents work great! Fits great! Looks great! Handles great at high speeds, very stable. No whistles or anything. Very quiet. I’ve worn shoei’s and arai’s and I choose this helmet over them. Plus the graphics are bada**.

Very nice helmet from HJC. A tad bit large looking, but most helmets are. Great vision and sheild changes are easy. Definitely a snug fit, but I guess it should be for safety purposes. The red strip are definitely more orange looking.

Lightest helmet I’ve ever owned or worn

I have worn HJC helmets for several years since they fit my head well, and come at a good price. The RPHA is not only significantly lighter than other HJC helmet made, but it is quiet and ventilates like no other. The fit and finish is very good, and its extremely comfortable. The liner is soft microfiber, and snaps out for easy cleaning. I considered the FG-17, which is another good racing/track-day helmet, but the features on the RPHA made the price difference worthwhile. My helmet also came with a pin-lock insert which will come in useful on sunny days. The only downside I can find is with the visor latch – I’m used to it being on the left, and in the middle it can obstruct vision slightly. It snaps down firmly, which is useful at track speeds, and isn’t noticeable if you use the included breath guard. A great helmet, and compares well to models from Shoei and Arai.

Best helmet I have ever owned. Really helps on cutting down on the wind buffeting. Vents really well, anti fog insert works perfectly. Would highly recommend

Love the helmet – it’s light

Love the helmet – it’s light, well designed, good venting, and with good padding. It arrived super quickly. I followed HJC’s measuring guidelines and I was at the smaller end of the medium, so that’s what I ordered thinking I would have some wiggle room. It did not fit. I contacted the seller, and they arranged an exchange for a Large. Everything went smooth, and the return shipping went as quickly as the original. What i learned is that when ordering a helmet you have never worn before, it is a good thing to go someplace and try it on to confirm the size you need, not just relying on the manufacturer’s guidelines. (I was switching from a Shoei to the HJC).
