VERY lightweight. Fits pretty well. A little taller than I expected but overall I’d give the fit an 9 out of 10. Nice looking helmet. Straps are comfortable and placed in exactly the right place. Lining/padding is MUCH thinner than most helmets I have seen or tried on which makes it look a lot less like a mushroom sitting on top of your head. Doesn’t catch the wind like the larger style helmets. I recommend it highly.

No more mushroom head!

I purchased this half helmet to replace another one. My helmet size is XXL and the other one really makes my head look HUGE! This one is low profile and I look pretty cool in it!

OORAH!! I’M NOT A MUSHROOM!

After 3 other helmets claiming “super low profile, this one actually is a low profile helmet. It’s lightweight, no large padded side straps and a perfect fit. It is truly a comfortable helmet that looks good. I never recommend items, but in this case I made an exception…..that’s how much I like it. NO NEGATIVES!

Really nice

~ Five Varieties Of Motorbike Headgear

Motorbike headgear are of five types and are secured on the rider's head using a chin strap. The purpose of using them and their protective benefits are defeated if chin strap isn't secured.

Full Face Helmet: The entire face helmet covers the entire head approximately the skull base and is among the most protective of all the helmets. It features a swiveling cutout band, referred to as a visor, created from transparent plastic over the front of the eyes and nose. Some helmets include vents for increased airflow. The disadvantages are decreased hearing, intense heat, and not enough wind. Full-face helmets which can be commonly used for motocross or off-road rides don't sometimes possess a face shield though the visor and chin portions are extended. A helmet with less coverage is less safe.

Off-Road/Motocross Helmets: Mototcross/Off-road helmets have extended visor and chin portions. The lack of a face shield permits the rider to use goggles and enable more airflow that's required during strenuous off-road rides. The visor protects the rider's eyes from flying debris and keeps the sun's rays's glare from the rider's eyes during jumps.

Though off-road helmets was lacking a chin bar earlier on, modern off-road helmets possess a chin bar to shield the face from impact during crashes. By such helmets along with goggles, the same amount of protection as from full face helmets can be achieved.

Modular/Flip-Up Helmets: Sometimes known from the name convertible, the modular helmet is a hybrid between your full face and open face street helmet.
